You crack me up! Always your writing delights me. Just so you know, I did indeed manage to pack for an entire month in France with just one carry-on suitcase. (We had laundry in our apartment, what a marvelous invention. 😉
I did buy another bag for all the French purchases, but one checked bag after a month in France is total success! And I use my pretty French forks every day.
